We are fortunate to have Dave Bender as our Head Coach, and now he has been recognized as the best NICA coach in the country. Dave was recently awarded the 2018 SRAM Coach of the Year award.
The SRAM Coach of the Year Award acknowledges a head coach whose qualities as a leader and motivator embodies NICA’s mission to provide student-athletes with the coaching and camaraderie to help them achieve both competitive and non-competitive goals in a safe and enjoyable manner.
Thank you Dave for developing the youth in our community into strong, passionate, and successful young adults (and FAST race-winning athletes as well)!
